Stay in the loop!
A very quick and very exciting update, you can now subscribe to our public events calendar to always be in the know about new events, tastings, demos, and anything else we do at SoFAB. Of course I will still be updating you via newsletter and social media, but honestly I wouldn’t remember half the things I remind you about unless it was in my calendar. So, if you would like to, feel free to subscribe to our calendar by clicking the “Stay in the Loop” button on the Calendar page of our website.
How to get involved
One of my favorite days of the week is Tuesdays, when I get to work from the research center with Liz! Every time I’m there I find something I’ve never seen before. Gorgeous menus, pamphlets post cards, etc. And every time I’m in there I say to Liz, “we HAVE to digitize this!” To be completely honest I’m pretty sure she’s tired of me saying that but it’s okay because I’m not going to stop until everything is digitized. :D
The only problem is, we don’t have a scanner. So, if you have an old scanner you would like to donate to a loving home, I would, personally, greatly appreciate if you considered donating it to our research center. Also, if you enjoy scanning and would like to come and help us digitize our collections, please let us know! We greatly appreciate all volunteers. Please email liz@southernfood.org for inquiries
